More Heat There, Less Here - Distribution Matters

In our marketing and on this site, we talk a lot about heat distribution, a key feature of infrared heating that makes it so very suitable for warming large areas. Instead of just creating a hot spot in front of the grille like a ordinary space heater does, the infrared heater spreads its energy more evenly throughout the room. Naturally, the main benefit here is that people far from the heater get a share of the warmth, effectively heating the room faster with the same power consumption. However, there is another unobvious benefit to more uniform heat distribution, and that benefit is felt not by the people far from the heater, but by those sitting right next to it.

Today is the winter solstice on the top side of the globe. Meteorologically speaking, any cold weather you may have experienced up to now wasn't "winter weather" at all, but merely "autumn weather." Yeah, that was autumn ice. And autumn snow.
If you're already numbering the days till spring - it's 89, not that we're counting - take heart: Today is as far as we'll get from the sun. The long trek back to summer starts now, as the days commence getting longer by about one minute per sunset.
